The Professional Green

The professional golf sport demands specific qualities of a green. In co-operation with golf pro's and manufacturers Highlands Grass® has developed specific greens who come up to the high expectations concerning its performance in relation to the roll, bite, break and stimp of the ball.

This resulted in different types of professional greens including Highlands Greens® Monaco, Antibes and Cannes. These artificial grasses, primarily existing of polyethylene, with a pile height of appr. 30mm are filled in with our special Highlands Greens® top-finish. By using our Highlands Greens® Fringe which does not need an infill your green will stay cleaner than normal. Even the cover of a bunker can be made in special artificial grass. Highlands Greens® are almost indistinguishable from natural greens, as well in looks as in performance.

That will say, they are distinguishable in winter, at shadowy parts and after heavy rains: then your green is still as beautiful and playable as ever!
